          Madonna House ~ Toy Drive
               Project 2007 ~ Ongoing

The New Jersey Shore Chapter is at it again!  Their first community project is off the
ground.  The Madonna House Inc., a Religious Association in Neptune Township is a
very worthy organization.  This non-profit was created and conceptualized by the
current director Becky Blonsky in 1987 and later incorporated in 1992.  Their primary
mission is to serve infants, children and women by providing supplies 'FREE OF
CHARGE".   An estimated 7,000 local children a year are aided by the Madonna
House.

This organization survives purely on the goodwill and donations of the local community.
In order for the Madonna House to continue on it's path, most recently Mrs. Blonsky
opened up a Thrift Shop in an adjoining space next to the Madonna House drop off
center in Neptune.  The Thrift store and the neighboring house that will eventually
become the Children's Thrift Shop has become our community project.

The goal is to help them prosper, grow and be profitable.  She would like the Thrift
Shops to become a profitable mainstays in the community.  Mrs. Blonsky would like to
continue doing the goodwill that she has been doing for the last 20 years.  For the store
to become more self sufficient to allow her more free time and money to be able to visit
her family out of state.

Through our group we will utilize our skills to make changes to her environment, to
achieve harmony, balance and focus to allow her to make her dreams come true.

Our first meeting there was held on November 13, 2007.  Our group took a guided tour
by Mrs. Blonsky throughout her facility.  We took notes, photos, and compass readings.
Using Feng Shui and the 9 Star Ki we began to make plans, create ideas and
formulate a strategy to assist the Madonna House.

Jersey Shore Chapter Notes:

The Jersey Shore Chapter met for the last time in 2007 on December 14th.  Our group
meeting consisted of a shopping spree and "Curbside Makeover" at the Madonna
House in Neptune City, New Jersey.   The Madonna House is a non-profit organization
that provides free clothing and other basic needs for children in our area.  The Jersey
Shore group decided to adopt the Madonna House for their community project
2007-2008.

The day began with reviewing the list of "Feng Shui" items needed to enhance the
center.  Loading ourselves into 2 cars, off we went shopping for outdoor decorative
pots and topiary trees for the front entrance area.  We also managed to pick up some
chimes and a beautiful indoor wall mounted water fountain that we plan on hanging in
the Southeast sector of the building to generate good qi flow for the thrift shop.

The group was also able to get the following items donated:

Cash donations
5 Gallons of paint to brighten up the community waiting room
Many items of clothing and toys to be distributed to needy children
Merchandise to sell in their thrift shop
Our goal for 2008 is to complete our "makeover" and have an art fundraiser where all
proceeds will go to the Madonna House.

"Curbside Makeover" for the Madonna House!

Donations, volunteers and positive energy was the result!
